In 1946, after WWII, he left Italy and arrived at the port of Veracruz, where his name was Castilianized to Pietro Garibay, and began his life in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
He was a young man so passionate about cooking and his recipes were spectacular, that he wanted everyone to know them.
The whole family got together when the grandfather cooked, but those closest to him were his grandchildren.
Unfortunately, grandfather Pietro passed away in 2011, but the Garibay family have always wanted to remember him by sharing Pietro's taste for cooking. Later founding Pietro's restaurant.
